What They Say About Us

Below are just a few examples of some of the many lovely comments we get from parents, visitors and members of the public who write to us about BCA. I am delighted to be able to share them with you.

Feedback from our parents...

“We just wanted to write and thank you all so much for taking great care of Joshua on the Valencia trip.  He came back full of enthusiasm and had had a wonderful time.  We are so grateful that you took into account his additional needs and medication at bedtime.  We feel that he was extremely well looked after.  Thank you too for updating us daily on the school website.  It was wonderful to see how the children were getting on every day.  We missed Joshua but it helped to have the blog to see what fun he was having every day."

Thank you again - Lydia and Alan Robinson

“Both my children completed their primary education at BCA and had a brilliant time and achieved beyond our expectations! We’ll dearly miss the school and all the staff who made our children’s life engaging and eventful. Goodbye BCA, you will be missed.”

Mr and Mrs Raveendran

“We feel that our daughter has had a very good year and made lots of progress.  This is thanks to the very kind and supportive staff she has had this year.  She is a different child from who started in September.  She loves coming into school and can’t wait to come home and show us what she has learnt.”

“As parents, we are very proud of our daughter’s educational achievements.  It wouldn’t be possible without the professional and caring approach of all BCAs personnel involved in our daughter’s development.  Thank you.”

“Once again, we are very pleased with our daughter’s report.  It clearly shows how hard she tries in all areas of school and how determined she is to do as well as she can in all subjects.  It is lovely to see that her true loving, sensitive, nurturing personality shines through at school too.  Our daughter loves school and readily grasps any new opportunities that are presented to her."

“Yet again a very pleasing report for our daughter.  We are extremely happy with the progress she has made.  She absolutely loves school and this is down to the fantastic and dedicated teaching staff.”

“Really pleased with our sons 1st school report.  Couldn’t of asked for a better 1st teacher for him.  Amazing to see how much his confidence has grown and how much he has learnt in a year, all down to great teaching staff.”

“I am so very proud of our son and all he has achieved.  In particular, it was so lovely to read about how well thought of he is by his peers and his teacher.  I am so very grateful to his teacher for helping our son with his confidence and giving him the encouragement and leadership he needed to achieve such great things.  Her patience and gentle demeanour have helped him so much.”

“We are happy and grateful that our daughter has been able to learn so much in year 1 and she’s had the support and encouragement we wished for.  We are proud of all her achievements throughout the year and thank you to all the teachers involved!”

“We are absolutely over the moon with our sons report, he has achieved so much this year and is slowly becoming more confident in everything he is faced with. Thank you for everything you have done for him this year.”

Feedback from our pupils...

“Thanks to all of you for helping me to learn.  I really enjoyed to have you and to be in a tidy class.  YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHERS EVER! Good luck to Miss Gardner with her new job! Looking forward to see you, Miss Judd, next year. With love.”

“I love everything about the Academy and if I had a choice I wouldn’t move to any other school.”

“I have explored various activities this year and my teacher has supported me all the way through: Peer mediator, performance poetry, being Lady Macbeth in assembly, part of the netball team and training my way through to the finals of ‘Belmont’s Got Talent’ are a few to name.”

“I love this school and I have enjoyed making friends and what I have done. Thank you BCA!”

“I have done excellent this year and I am pleased to be exceeding in every subject.  I have enjoyed having different lessons every now and then and all the treats.”

“This year I feel like I have done very well and I feel very proud of myself.  I am pleased with my handwriting and I think I could improve by knowing North, South, East and West of by heart.  I enjoyed going swimming and going to Chalkwell.”

Email from one of our governors...

"Thank you for inviting me to your Spring Concert. I was extremely impressed with the children’s enthusiasm and sheer dedication to providing a good show for their parents, and I thoroughly enjoyed it (although I think you could have forewarned me about the emotional impact of the signing and singing performance- luckily I had a tissue up my sleeve!). It was very obvious that such a lot of hard work went into making it a success, and both children and staff are to be commended.

Feedback from those who visit our school...

Dear Staff and Children,

Wow! What a welcome! I loved coming to your school this week. It was a real pleasure for me to work in such a great place. I visit many schools – in fact I have been into more than a thousand now – so I see all kinds of things. Sometimes the experience is good, sometimes it’s bad (sadly) and sometimes it’s utterly brilliant. My visit to your school was definitely utterly brilliant.

The leadership in the school is exceptional in terms of the commitment of the senior leadership team to inclusion and building a culture of excellence. It was a pleasure to now formally confirm the status of Belmont Castle academy as a Gold school. The school should now start working towards achieving the Centre of Excellence Award, which is the elite of the standard. Congratulations to all those involved in achieving this excellent result, the school, parents and staff should be proud of the strong foundations you are creating for your students.

Senior Director of Learning Workz – Samson DeAlyn

To everyone at Belmont Castle, hello! I want to say a big thank-you for the wonderful welcome you gave to me last week on my visit to your brilliantly creative school. Everyone was so friendly. I was very impressed by the work you have done (on displays in the hall and the Library especially) relating to my books. It was also a treat to be interviewed on your very own radio station. This was a first for me! The school is a real credit to you all – form the Head and all the staff to every one of the children. I hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did. Who knew that a school in a place called Grays would be so full of colour!
